We use AI in a few specific places. We want to be upfront about exactly where, what data it sees, what it does with that data, and what your rights are.
Where we use AI
1. Help center chat (Wilder)
Our chat widget (the floating bubble on the bottom-right of every page) is powered by an AI assistant we call Wilder. Wilder runs on Claude (made by Anthropic) and is constrained to only answer questions about Wildcore Studio's services, pricing, and process.
- Wilder is not a human and never claims to be one.
- Wilder cannot take payments, modify your account, or commit to anything on Corey's behalf.
- Wilder will not give legal, medical, financial, or tax advice.
- If you ask for a human, Wilder will offer to forward your message to Corey via email.
- Replies are AI-generated and may occasionally be wrong. We encourage you to verify anything important by emailing us directly.
2. Website prototypes
We use AI to help research businesses and generate the first draft of website content (text, layout suggestions, image placement). Every prototype is reviewed and refined by a human (Corey) before it's sent to you. The AI never publishes anything without human review.
3. Internal tooling
We use AI internally for analytics, lead scoring, and writing draft outreach emails. Any email sent to you from a real address (e.g. corey@wildcore.studio) is reviewed by a human before sending.
What data the AI sees
Chat conversations: Wilder receives the messages you send in the chat widget, plus the email and website you provide before chatting. It also has access to our public help articles to answer your questions accurately. It does NOT have access to other visitors' conversations, internal client data, payment information, or anything outside our public knowledge base.
Storage: Chat conversations are stored in our database for up to 90 days for quality improvement, debugging, and to give Corey context if you later contact him directly. After 90 days, conversations are anonymized (your email is removed and the transcript is kept for product improvement only).
Third-party processing: Your messages are sent to Anthropic (the company that makes Claude) to generate responses. Anthropic does not train their models on your conversations per their commercial terms.
Your rights
- Opt out: You can refuse to chat at any time. The chat widget is purely optional.
- Delete your data: Email hello@wildcore.studio with the subject "Delete my chat data" and we'll remove your conversations within 7 days.
- Access your data: Same email — ask for "Export my chat data" and we'll send you everything we have on you within 7 days.
- Correct your data: Same email — let us know what's wrong and we'll fix it.
Guardrails
We've built strict guardrails into Wilder so it can't be tricked into doing things it shouldn't. These include:
- Prompt injection detection (refuses to follow instructions hidden in user messages)
- Topic scoping (refuses to discuss anything outside Wildcore's services)
- No commitment authority (cannot promise prices, dates, or features beyond documented tiers)
- Rate limiting (max 8 messages per minute per visitor)
- Profanity / abuse de-escalation
