Timeline Overview
Here's the honest answer: it depends on the scope of your project and how quickly you can get us your content. But we can give you clear benchmarks for every phase.
Phase 1: Free Prototype
Timeline: 48 hours from first contact
Once you fill out the contact form, we start immediately. Within 48 hours, you'll have a link to a fully interactive prototype website.
This phase is entirely on us. No content needed from you yet — we research your business and build based on what we find.
Phase 2: Decision and Payment
Timeline: As long as you need
There's no clock on this. Take a day, take a week, take a month. Review the prototype, share it with your team, think it over. When you're ready, choose your build tier and pay your deposit.
Phase 3: Content Gathering
Timeline: 1-7 days (depends on you)
This is the phase where you are the bottleneck — and that's okay. We'll send you a clear list of what we need:
- Logo files (PNG, SVG, or whatever you have)
- Photos (team photos, product photos, location photos, etc.)
- Written content (service descriptions, about page copy, FAQs, etc.)
- Brand preferences (colors, fonts, examples of sites you like)
- Integration details (booking platform, social media links, Google Business info)
Pro tip: Don't let perfect be the enemy of good. Send us what you have now, and we can refine later. Waiting for the "perfect" headshot or the "perfect" bio is the number one cause of project delays.
Phase 4: Build and Revisions
Timeline varies by tier:
| Tier | Typical Build Time |
|---|---|
| Starter ($199) | 3-5 business days |
| Standard ($699) | 5-10 business days |
| Premium ($1,499) | 10-20 business days |
| Enterprise ($2,499+) | 15-30 business days |
These timelines include 2-3 rounds of revisions. Each revision round typically takes 1-2 business days after you submit feedback.
Phase 5: Final Review and Launch
Timeline: 1-2 business days
Once you approve the final version:
- We connect your domain (DNS propagation: up to 48 hours, usually much faster)
- SSL certificate is provisioned (automatic, usually under 10 minutes)
- Email setup if included in your plan
- Analytics and SEO configuration
- Site goes live
Total Timeline (Start to Finish)
Here are realistic end-to-end timelines for each tier, assuming you're reasonably responsive with content:
| Tier | Best Case | Typical | Worst Case |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 5 days | 1-2 weeks | 3 weeks |
| Standard | 10 days | 2-3 weeks | 5 weeks |
| Premium | 2 weeks | 3-4 weeks | 6 weeks |
| Enterprise | 3 weeks | 4-6 weeks | 8+ weeks |
What Can Cause Delays?
On Your Side
- Slow content delivery — This is the #1 cause of delayed launches. We can't build with content we don't have.
- Extended revision cycles — More rounds of feedback means more time. We recommend being thorough but decisive.
- Stakeholder alignment — If multiple people need to approve the design, build in extra time for that.
On Our Side
- Complex integrations — Booking systems, payment processors, and custom features take longer to implement and test.
- Domain transfer issues — If your domain is locked or has complex DNS, transfers can take extra time.
- Volume — During busy periods, timelines may extend slightly. We'll always communicate if this affects your project.
Our Promise
We don't rush and we don't overpromise. If something is going to take longer than expected, we'll tell you up front. Bad websites come from bad timelines, and we'd rather take an extra few days than deliver something we're not proud of.
